The road to Artist Point (the final section of SR 542) and Highway 20 (starting at Ross Dam Trailhead) are both closed for the season.

Alternative Firing Techniques: Raku, Saggar, etc.

In the 7 weeks long, Alternative firing class, students will learn about Ruku, Horsehair, Naked Raku, Copper Fuming and Saggar firing. You should expect to have time to make new work, bisque and have multiple raku firing days. Firing temperatures will range from cone 017 to 04 (roughly 1350F-1950F). Students are encouraged to create and fire their own work. 

Because a weekly firing schedule can be hard to keep up with. Upon request, pieces can be provided by the instructor for a modest fee.
